With a transfer connector (convert kit), the 1266R-5351 can easily replace the 1510A-5251 SX (Seperately Excited or SepEx) motor speed controller (Part Number 102806201, CURTIS Model Number 1510A-5251). The two controllers have the same installation dimension.
By default, we will deliver the controller with default setting of 48V / 350A. Various throttles can be used with the 1266R-5351 controller, including 5kΩ 3-wire potentiometers, 0-5V throttles, and electronic throttles. For activating the 1313-4401 Handheld Programmer or 1314 PC Programming Station, J1-8 and J1-16 terminals should be connected to "B+" of DC power source (16.8V - vehicle system voltage); "B-" busbar should be connected to "B-" of DC power source (16.8V - vehicle system voltage).
Notice: We supply also the 1266R-5351 controller assemblage with throttle (foot pedal).

Unique braking parameters allow simple, intuitive deceleration tuning. A full-bridge field winding control stage is combined with a half-bridge armature power stage to provide solid state motor reversing and regenerative braking power without additional relays or contactors. |
