CURTIS 1244 series SepEx controllers are designed for heavy duty electric vehicles applications, wildly applied in DC SepEx motor driving system. For more details, please read carefully the CURTIS 1244 SepEx Controller Manual.

The motor speed controller assembly integrates all parts in a compact context, provides easy installation and usage for users. No matter you're an advanced user looking to make some tweaks, or just want an easy way to apply the controller without complicated wiring and motor driving theory, you can easily start your DC SepEx motor with a 1244 controller assembly.

There are three models available for CURTIS 1244 controller assemblage:

• 1244-5561: 36V / 48V - 500A
• 1244-5651: 36V / 48V - 600A
• 1244-6661: 48V / 60A / 72V / 80(84)V - 600A

A foot pedal throttle, installation kit (bolts, nuts and washes) and mating connectors (assembly and throttle) are included in the package of assembly.

Overview:

CURTIS 1244 MultiMode™ controllers are separately excited motor speed controllers designed for use in a variety of material handling vehicles. These programmable controllers are simple to install, efficient, and cost effective. Typical applications include low lifts, stackers, fork lifts, reach trucks, personnel carriers, counterbalance trucks, order pickers, boom trucks, and other industrial vehicles.

The 1244 MultiMode™ controller offers smooth, silent, cost effective control of motor speed and torque. A four quadrant, full-bridge field winding control stage is combined with a two quadrant, half-bridge armature power stage to provide solid state motor reversing and regenerative braking power without additional relays or contactors. The 1244 controller can also be specified to be compatible with CAN Bus communication systems.

The 1244 controller is fully programmable through a CURTIS 1313-4331 Handheld Programmer or 1314 PC Programming Station. The programming device provides diagnostic and test capability in addition to configuration flexibility.
